NATHAN SHELTON (AEA, SAG/AFTRA) is a multifaceted artist and proud Artistic Advisory Board member of Bump In The Night Theatre! He is represented as a stage, screen, & voice actor by DDO Artists Agency – Chicago. Nathan continues to work across the country as an actor, writer, director, & designer.  He also serves as a private coach, script doctor, & teaches acting, directing, & SFX Makeup Design. (including over a decade with Northwestern University’s prestigious NHSI “Cherubs” Film Institute)

Nathan’s Special Effects Makeup work can be seen in films such as the multiple Academy Award-nominated, Winter's Bone (starring Jennifer Lawrence), Above Ground (starring Clayne Crawford & Ken Hudson Campbell), MEAD (starring Robert Picardo & Patton Oswalt), PMS Cop & The Sky Has Fallen.  He is also proud to have designed SFX makeup for several live theatre events and music videos (including Scum of the Earth's "Dance MotherF***er" with former Rob Zombie guitarist, Mike Riggs).  He’s the Founder/Executive Producer of ARCANE, a cabal of like-minded creatives who share a passion for all things dark, twisted, & mysterious.  Nathan rarely works in SFX these days, but continues to create monstrous makeups & creepy creations for smaller film, theatrical, & personal projects.  Check out his ARCANE Etsy Shop!
